Jetstar confirms it will operate the 787-8 Dreamliner international services from Sydney and Brisbane in 2014. Starting on 15 January 2014, the carrier will replace the current A330 operated flights from Sydney to Denpasar (Bali) and Sydney to Phuket with the Dreamliner. The airline will also launch a new non-stop flight from Brisbane to Denpasar (Bali) with the 787 from the 15 April 2014. The carrier’s current Brisbane – Bali flights operate via Darwin with single class Airbus A320s.

The carrier launched international flights with the 787 on 18 December 13 on the Melbourne to Denpasar (Bali) market. Jetstar will also trial trans-Tasman 787 flights during March 2014 on the Melbourne – Auckland.

New services remain subject to regulatory approval.
