Jetstar’s 787 has already experienced some set backs. A route proving non revenue flight from Melbourne to the Gold Coast today, 11 October has been cancelled. The reason is unknown.

Jetstar’s first commercial revenue flight was slated to commence on 13 November from Melbourne to Cairns as flight JQ 944. In a very subtle manner as noticed in this Jetstar Facebook picture, it now states flights commence 14 November, There will obviously be quite a number of disgruntled aviation enthusiasts who had specifically booked this inaugural service. The Jetstar website does however state 787 DreamLiner flights are subject to regulatory approval.
