Fiji Airways has just announced it will operate flights to Adelaide which will become the carrier’s fourth Australian station after Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Effective 30 June 2017, the airline will commence non-stop twice weekly Nadi (NAN) – Adelaide (ADL) using two class configured 737 aircraft.
“We’re delighted to launch our fourth Australian route, which will allow us to bring our unique Fijian hospitality to South Australia and will provide an alternative route to the United States via Nadi,” said Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways. South Australia Tourism Minister, Leon Bignell welcomed the announcement saying Adelaide has welcomed many airlines from around the world and Fiji Airways will provide even more options for visitors travelling to South Australia.
The new service will tap into South Australia’s significant Fijian community. In addition these new flights are designed to connect traffic to Fiji Airway’s international network to the Pacific and North America. Flights are now on sale with special introductory prices.
