Cathay Pacific has announced the resumption of services to Manchester, UK. Effective 08 December 2014, the carrier will commence four times-weekly services from Hong Kong using three class Boeing 777-300ER offering new Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
Manchester will be the airline’s second UK gaterway after London Heathrow, which is already served 4 times daily. Cathay Pacific Chief Executive Ivan Chu said: “We have a deep commitment to the UK market and currently operate five flights a day to London Heathrow. Business ties between the UK and Hong Kong are very strong and we have been seeing an ever-increasing demand for air travel to and from the Asia Pacific region for both business and leisure traffic.
Flights will connect seamlessly with services from Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The schedule from 08 December 2014, subject to regulatory approvals will be:

The carrier is also expected to announce resumption of service to Zurich and Boston, USA which will be a brand new never previously served destination.
