Emirates Airlines and the Jetstar Group have finalised a code-share agreement. Emirates will place its EK flight code on Jetstar (Australia and New Zealand) and Jetstar Asia/Valuair flights around Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
The agreement also covers reciprocal frequent flyer agreements. Emirates Skywards members will be able to redeem and earn miles on selected Jetstar Group flights.
“This new link between Emirates and Jetstar offers our passengers a number of benefits including new routes to destinations that are not part of the Emirates network today,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President, Planning, Aeropolitical & Industry Affairs.
The agreement which commences from 06 April 2014 will offer through check-in and issuance of onward boarding passes between the two carriers for a seamless.
