QANTAS will trial a different service style for the delivery its meal in the International Economy class cabin. The biggest difference will be the complete removal of the economy class meal tray. The main meal which will have a main and dessert will be served individually without the traditional tray.

Furthermore, the “Select on Q-Eat” service which was originally introduced in International Business and recently extended to Premium Economy, is also likely to be offered soon to International Economy. This facility allows passengers to pre-order their preferred meal prior to departure.
