Emirates has confirmed it will finally launch Airbus A380 services to Perth effective 01MAR14. One of the thrice daily 777 DXB-PER services will be A380. EK had intended to launch A380 services to PER much earlier however delays in the airport infrastructure to handle this aircraft type meant Brisbane received the A380 service instead. This means all of EK’s Australian stations except ADL will have an A380 service from 01MAR14.
