Jetstar Australia announced its first international flights out of Adelaide with new services to Auckland, New Zealand.

The ADL-AKL services will operate with single class Airbus A320 services thrice weekly every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Flights will be in code-share with QANTAS and are scheduled to commence from 16 December 2013, subject to regulatory approval. Lead in sale fares ADL-AKL start at AUD 99.00.

Air New Zealand already operates daily AKL-ADL services with A320s in collaboration with trans-Tasman alliance partner Virgin Australia.
