Jetstar has announced it will commence Brisbane to Honolulu flights from 15 December 2014. Flights will be operated by two class Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Frequency will be thrice weekly during peak season and twice weekly at other times. These new services remain subject to Government and regulatory approval.
This market has seen significant growth, with Hawai’ian Airlines recently adding an extra weekly service bringing the frequency up to four weekly services.
Jetstar already operates daily flights A330 flights to Honolulu from Sydney and thrice weekly from Melbourne Tullamarine. All flights will be code-shared with QANTAS.
